Hi-on Maiden back for TWO nights at The Hog & Hosper
Plus support: TBC
A totally different set-list each night! Including a classic Iron Maiden album performed in it's entirety.
We'll be taking our tribute show back down to South Wales on Saturday 30th, and Sunday 31st of July. Follwing on from it's great success in Nijmegen at the end of 2009, we will be once again rolling out our full album performances of The Number of the Beast and Somewhere in Time.
You'll have to wait and see which album is performed on which night but one night will feature Iron Maiden’s sixth studio album 'Somewhere in Time' performed in it’s entirety. Featuring the classic, Adrian Smith-penned, singles 'Wasted Years' and 'Stranger in a Strange Land', this album is arguably one of Maiden’s most popular. Also containing perennial fan favourite 'Heaven Can Wait' and the elusive 'Alexander the Great' (never performed live by Maiden themselves), this night is sure to please!
The other night we wind the clocks back to 1982 with a complete performance of Maiden’s first number-one album, 'The Number of the Beast'. This album is just hit after hit, with the title track and 'Run to the Hills' making waves in the singles charts. Live favourites 'Children of the Damned' and '22 Acacia Avenue' really showcase Maiden’s then newly-recruited frontman Bruce Dickinson, and of course no Maiden tribute show would ever be complete without 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' in there somewhere!
